There are many worlds, ranging from very similar from one another to wildly different. Normally the residents of these parallel universes never meet; but when the fabric of time and space is altered in pursuit of power, the various dimensions of the multiverse start to come together. So began the great crossover of Multiverse Unlimited.

Introduction:
Distortion threads haven’t been going too well since MU’s revival, with proposed threads fizzling-out before they ever really started or never even getting off of the ground at all. Which is a shame, because they’re a great opportunity to express creativity and put our characters in situations which would otherwise be wildly out-of-character for them otherwise. For those who are unclear about the Distortion Realms site feature, refer to the following:
Once you’ve familiarized yourself with how they work, feel free to sign up! Note that, as always, if a player lags behind with their posting they may be eligible to have their turns skipped. Repeated tardiness can result in the character being booted right out of the plot. We are willing to wait for a reasonable amount of time if a player has a valid excuse for taking a while between posts (work, school, ill, family troubles, etc.). However, muse death and laziness are not valid excuses.
Distorted Stardust High:
This distortion plot will center around a high school set in Spire City, where all of the students and faculty members will be comprised of the characters of MU. Drama? Blossoming romances? School rivalries? Pop quizzes? The sky’s the limit! This will pose as an opportunity for characters to mingle with one another in a school-themed setting. How will they interact with one another as classmates and teachers? I think this has the potential to be whimsical and a fun writing exercise for all involved players.
Additional Information:
The age of involved characters can be set to accommodate the position desired. For example, if your character is an adult, and you want them to be a student, you can decrease their age to fit. Since, like all distortion threads, this is non-canon, it makes no difference in the grand scheme of things if you tweak the character to better fit the plot.
While on the subject of non-canon, the involved character’s usual, canon history, motives, relationships, etc. need not apply and, in fact, shouldn’t apply for this situation in any form other than a loose one. Of course, personality traits should remain intact, as you’ll still be playing them in-character, but in a different scenario than the one they’re used to. Motives and history for their normal canon can influence their roles in this plot, but again, loosely (for example, Audacity and Cherry are both martial artists, and thus members of a martial arts club at school).
As with most distortion plots, this fabricated reality is self-contained, and not linked to the Multiverse. This means that, in this reality, there is only a single world which is inhabited by life (which will just be Earth, for simplicty’s sake), and all characters therein shall hence be from the same world. No portals; no Multiverse knowledge. However, characters may still be from areas not normally native to Earth, which will be considered as actual countries/locations for this realm’s version of Earth.
Characters need not be human, but they should at least be humanoid/anthropomorphic in physical structure. If a character is an animal or hulking monster, or what have you, they can be made 'humanized' for the sake of the plot.
School uniforms will be worn by students while they are on campus, though teachers may dress however you like (professionally, of course). The male student uniform consists of a black, collared blazer, which buttons down the front; a white, collared, button-front shirt; black slacks; and black, polished shoes. The jacket has royal blue trimming and details. The female uniform consists of a black, button-front, collared blouse; a white sailor-style collar with royal blue stripes; a black, pleaded skirt, draping just above the knees; white, calf-high stockings; and black, polished Mary Janes. The blouse has royal blue trimming and details.
Write-out a brief bio on your character as they exist in this distortion plot. Some examples will be below for reference.
Plot Suggestions:
Let me know any suggestions you have for this plot. Do you have an overarching theme in mind: some sort of event going down at the high school which should be focused on? Have a romantic pairing in mind? Want to have a rivalry between students? Discussion of such matters can be explored here!

Students:
Alice Hargreaves [Age 14, Freshman] [Chess Club and Writing Club] A transfer student from Great Britain, Alice Hargreaves is an odd, curious girl. Though intelligent and remarkably mature, she is overly imaginative and eccentric, and is easily bored by subjects that do not interest her. In the case of extraordinarily dull subjects, she has a hard time paying attention. She loves English, bores of history, for example. She is a serious cat lover. She loves to write, though she rarely allows anyone to read her drafts until she feels it's 'ready.' She is a chess master, having been a champion chess player in her old school, back at home.
Asagi Asagiri [Age 18, Senior] [Writing Club] A geeky young girl whom is a member of the Writing Club. While normally a fly on the wall, rarely speaking unless otherwise spoken to, she wishes more then anything to become part of the in-crowd and become noticed. She’s a nice girl, but is somewhat shallow.
Ash Lang [Age 17, Senior] [Fencing Club] In terms of maturity, few high school students can compare to Ash. While most boys his age are impetuous and reckless, Ash remains a constant voice of reason, and he is decidedly studious and disciplined. Some could even go so far as to call him stuffy and overbearing, though he doesn’t intend to be, and generally has the best of intentions in mind. An admirer of swordplay, he is a member of the Fencing Club, and is one of Mr. Layton’s top students in said club. Due to his attractive features and his maturity beyond his years, he is quite popular with the female students, though he doesn’t seem very interested in the dating scene. He has come to be very protective of a freshman student named Marona, whom he stands up for as one of her few friends and companions. Though he only wants what’s best for her, he can be overprotective at times. While not in his student uniform, Ash is almost always seen wearing his trademark red scarf, regardless of the current weather.
Aurora Dormant [Age 17, Junior] [Various Music Clubs - Harpist and Singer/Choir] Aurora Dormant is from a wealthy family, whose parents are of esteemed stature. She is also among the students considered the most physically beautiful (or, in more realistic terms, 'hottest'). Despite these facts, she is not arrogant, and is remarkably modest and sweet. Unfortunately, she’s also a little lonely at times (growing up, she used to eat her lunches alone), and is meek and shy. She doesn’t have too many friends, but she adores those she can trust. Rumor has it she’s narcoleptic, because she sometimes has trouble staying awake, or at least appears very tired. Declining any and all invitations to the cheerleading program, Aurora instead turns to her true calling: music. She is an award-winning singer, and her versatile voice can range from pop singer to (her preference) operatic. She is also an excellent harpist, having practiced the instrument her whole life. Despite these astounding credits, she is not well liked by the more 'popular' girls in school, whether out of jealousy or simple spite. Aurora is often flirted with, but she, a virgin, is only interested in finding a man who can love her for who she is... not just her looks. She has a particular best friend, and, humorously, the two could not be any more different.
Cherry [Age 17, Senior] [Dojo Club] A transfer student from outside of Spire City, Cherry is a fiery, spunky, and energetic girl with a distinctive raccoon tail and ears. She is friendly and outgoing, but won’t be pushed around by anyone. She is very determined and self-motivated, but she can also be compulsive and a bit mischievous. She is primarily a tomboy, though she does have a distinctive feminine side. She loves Eastern Kung Fu movies and Asian food. Not content to settle merely on watching others fight, she is a member of the Dojo Club, which means she practices in martial arts herself, despite her short stature and cute appearance, which can be deceptive. She is a hopeless romantic, despite the fact that she doesn’t actually have a boyfriend. She is almost inseparable from her best friend, Mia.
Jeremy Clarke [Age 14, Freshman] [Science Club] The son of two middle-class working parents and the younger brother of a popular and friendly college jock named Richard, Jeremy himself is a sweet and shy, if stubborn, nerdy kid. He can be somewhat lacking in social skills, but he is very caring and fiercely loyal once he manages to make friends with someone. He dresses in an almost business-casual type manner and can be a bit obsessive over tidiness and organization. He’s a member of the Science Club, and with some arm-twisting from Richard, he volunteered for the Big Brothers program. His Little Brother is an 8-year-old named Cody with some interesting secrets of his own.
Jonathan Meadows [Audacity] [Age 17, Senior] [Dojo Club Leader] Jonathan is a headstrong, moody senior and the club captain of the school’s Dojo Club, which teaches discipline and martial arts. He is always butting heads with other students, particularly the jocks and members of the Wrestling Club. He has no tolerance for those who bully weaker students, and is known to skirmish with them regularly. When he’s not in classes he can generally be found at the Dojo Club or in detention. Despite being the leader of a school club, he is decidedly anti-social. Practically nothing is known about Jonathan outside of what is seen of his actions at school, making him rather mysterious.
Julian Andrewson [Age 15, Freshman] [Wrestling Club] Julian’s the son of a single dad in a dead-end 9-5 desk job, and the latter sometimes dreams of moving out into the country to start a farm. But that’s not likely to happen anytime soon. This young man is an upbeat and social type and somewhat popular at school. Julian can be a bit of a class clown, but he knows when to be serious so as not to get in trouble. He’s also got a compassionate side and is willing to help out any classmate in trouble, within reason. He’s an up-and-coming newbie on the high school’s Wrestling Club, but he thinks the pro sport is fake and has no plans to pursue it on that level. Julian secretly has telekinetic powers, and only his dad and closest friends know that.
Marona Chartreuse [Age 14, Freshman] [Occult Club] Marona is an exceptionally optimistic, outgoing, and friendly girl. She always sees the best in people, and gives them the benefit of the doubt more often than not. She is caring and nurturing, and she is even known for taking in stray animals and nursing them back to health. Unfortunately, her kind-hearted nature is often a double-edged sword, as people tend to bully and abuse her with the knowledge that she won’t stand up for herself. A member of the Occult Club and strong believer in the supernatural, she is considered to be a freak by many, and is often the subject of bullying. She has very few friends on campus, though a senior named Ash has taken to sticking up for her and becoming somewhat of a guardian against those who would abuse her. She clearly likes Ash a lot, but whether her feelings toward him are platonic or romantic in nature remains unclear.
Mia Blair [Age 17, Senior] [Gymnastics Club] Cheerful and chipper, mischievous and playful, Mia is a free-spirited tomboy, and the closest friend of Cherry, whom she’s usually not seen very far from - except when practicing for her Gymnastics Club, in which she’s among the most flexible of all the members. Despite her feline features, which she was initially quite ashamed of, she’s not afraid to express herself, and will fiercely stand up for herself or her friends. She’s emotional, to say the least, and wears her heart on her sleeve - but this also makes her highly empathetic towards others, and willing to help them. She also loves hugs, so beware.
Patricia “Peacock” Avian [Age 14, Freshman] [Anime Club] Semi-sadistic and very outgoing, Peacock is a very loony young lady known for being a cartoon addict. While being a member of the Anime Blub has its perks, her ability to quote cartoons, movies, anime and various other sources is often given the weird eye by those she meets. For those she calls friends, she is very supportive, a great comforter, but is a young woman who can very much say it like it is. The energetic and blunt Brunnete. She also smokes. It’s commonly thought Sal and Peacock are an item, due to their back and forths, but it’s also well known that the two thoroughly hate each other’s guts.
Sal Oblivion [Age 16, Sophomore] [Wrestling Club] A pretentious, self-absorbed and quite selfish young man whom is very strong for someone his age. But of course this comes natural for being a demon humanoid. Being of such young age, he has yet to learn how to use his kind’s particularly destructive magic.
San Suzuki [Age 18, Senior] Socially awkward and sometimes even considered a delinquent, San is moody, broody, and full of attitude. She makes no effort to socialize, and most are too afraid of her to bother trying to get her to do so - she spends her time alone, sometimes running the tracks by herself when the track team isn’t using it, or hanging around in the woods outside of the school. Despite her cold and fierce exterior... there just may be a vulnerable, emotional girl who truly does desire companionship, beneath it all. One student, in particular, has been able to slowly but surely draw out this side of her.
Zorro Sparks [Age 15, Freshman] [Soccer Club] A hot-blooded young freshman, bright-eyed and bushy-tailed - quite literally. Although undyingly bold and determined in whatever he does, he can be a bit behind in terms of maturity, and has a tendency to be too cocky for his own good. He has a good heart, though, and never really wishes harm on anyone... unless they’re an outright bully who’s asking for it. Often teased for his short, scrawny stature, he nonetheless puts up an amazing fight, both verbally and sometimes even physically, and never backs down from a challenge. Carefree and mischievous, he despises spending time on schoolwork - and, as such, isn’t the most successful student around - but he’s among the star players of the school’s soccer team!
Faculty:
Dormus Dullahan [Modern Technology Teacher] Mr. Dullahan is a technology teacher who specializes in software and computer programming. Rather rude and arrogant, he is notorious for being the most brutal, heartless teacher at the school - even more so than Mr. Winters, the History Teacher and another faculty member known for his strictness. Students are often resentful of having him as their teacher, but seeing as he teaches a class which is highly desirable in the modern world, many simply grin and bear it. Rumor has it that Dullahan has a love of the occult, and that he’s an unofficial adviser of the Occult Club.
Geoffrey Wittenberg [Principal] Mr. Wittenberg is the presiding principal of the high school. He is a mild-mannered, elderly gentleman known for his sharp style of dress, thick glasses, and peculiar hair and beard styles. He has proven to be incredibly efficient at his job, and preemptively handles problems, events, and other tasks which crop-up on campus with stunning precision. Very little is known about Wittenberg outside of face-value. His past and personal life are complete mysteries. Though it is believed he originates from England, this is nothing more than a rumor.
Goro King [Vice-Principal] Personal assistant to Principal Wittenberg, Mr. Goro King is the vice-principal of the high school. King has quite a love of animals, and seems to appreciate them even more than he does people. Because of this, many of the students have taken to calling him Animal King Goro. Oddly enough, despite his love of animals, they typically don’t tend to care much for him, making the love rather one-sided. Prior to completing his college courses and becoming employed by the high school, he was once a student of the high school itself. Though that was many decades ago, as his old age can attest to.
Hershel Layton [English Teacher] Hershel Layton is the English teacher of the high school. Despite being under six feet tall, he has a big heart and is among the most compassionate and gentlemanly members of the faculty. Even students who hate English classes tend to like him, and he refuses to write a student off as hopeless. If a student is endangered of getting a bad grade, he will insist on helping the student in question. The bulk of his teachings include reading and writing, but he’s also a puzzle master and sometimes presents puzzles to his students, mostly wordplays and brain teasers. Outside of English he also teaches fencing, and runs the Fencing Club. He is good friends with Ms. Samus Aran, and harbors romantic feelings for her, but he is too timid to ask her out.
Issac 'Vagabond' McClain [Geography Teacher] Issac is a paradox; being young and yet wise beyond his years. He is a very caring individual who often puts the needs of his students before his own needs. He’s a very well liked teacher, often called the Vagabond due to the massive amounts of traveling he has done previous to coming to the Spire City high school. Seems to have an odd fondness for decrepit pieces of cloth such as tapestries and religious robes.
Samus Aran [Science Teacher] Ms. Aran is a wise, intelligent and insightful woman with extensive knowledge of a variety of sciences, sometimes teaching biology classes - in truth, her favorite subject - when the normal teacher is unable to teach. Astronomy is another favorite subject of hers, and she seems to show an almost startling familiarity with it. Always eager to share her knowledge with her students, she keeps classes engaging to those interested with her enthusiasm for the subjects she teaches. Always calm and collected, she never once raises her voice - she has no need to, for merely her piercing gaze - like that of a "badass sci-fi heroine", some students may say - is enough to keep most students in check. To many, she can come off as cold and intimidating, but she remains a favorite among many students for her wry sense of humor - and, particularly by the males, for certain other assets. There’s an interesting rumor floating among the student body that Ms. Aran, in fact, had a much more... adventurous career, before settling down to teach.
Syrian Adonis [Poetry Teacher] While Ms. Centurio is well received by the male demographic of the high school, as far as teachers are concerned, Mr. Adonis is undoubtedly fancied by many of the female students. Suave, cultured, and astonishingly attractive, Adonis harbors seemingly all of the qualities of a bona fide male heartthrob. Originating from Greece, Adonis achieved his scholarship achievements before moving to Seraph Island to continue studying abroad while pursuing a teaching career. While he is the campus poetry teacher, he himself is also attending college courses to further his own knowledge. His philosophy is that there’s no end to education, and that every passing day has something new to teach.
Tama de Centurio [Caster] [Mythology Teacher] Another teacher that’s well liked... but by the MALE demographics of the class due to her easily recognizable physique. Tama is well versed in mythology from various places and time periods, and in herself is not a bad teacher... She just gets annoyed when students pay more attention to her... Bosoms than the class. Either way, Tama is a kind and gentle teacher, but will often get the point across through violence if at all necessary. Outside of work, she is quite flirtatious to anyone whom is lucky enough to be called her 'date'.
William Winters [History Teacher] Mr. Winters is a cold, callous, no-nonsense man and the history teacher of the high school. He is known for being rather strict to students he deems to be 'slackers,' though he tends to be more lenient and less overbearing than Mr. Dullahan. He grows irritated by Mr Layton’s tendency to mollycoddle his students, and feels that he is too soft on them. He has a deep love and a sincere passion of the ancient world and archaeology, and transparently appreciates such things far more than the modern world he lives in.
Other:
Aurum [Stardust High Founder] A notable historical figure, Aurum is widely regarded as a hero. Over two hundred years before Stardust High existed, he was a powerful warrior whom had accomplished numerous acts of heroism by defeating various antagonists who threatened the peace of the free world. He was largely responsible for vanquishing the tyrant dictators who were at fault for waging a world war, the most horrific war in recent history. At the conclusion of the war, peace treaties were established which have held for two centuries. Without a need for his talents on the battlefield, Aurum invested in the construction of Stardust High, claiming that it would be a corner stone to grooming future generations to walk down the straight and narrow path. Shortly after the construction of the school he vanished without a trace. A statue of Aurum is located at the school entrance.
Renard [Rename Card] [Janitor] An immigrant to Seraph Island who hails from the Eastern region of Wumashi. While Renard may be the high school’s janitor, he prefers to be referred to as 'master of the custodial arts.' Given his position, he doesn’t garner much respect from the students or the faculty, but boasts that he is the eyes and ears of the institution. He is known to make references to something called the Breakfast Club, even though the school does not officially have any club by that title. In any event, Renard is a prime source of information, with nearly every school rumor reaching his ears. Savvy students may seek him out for the latest buzz on various school-related events.

They've been added to the list. Note that part of Sal's bio has been removed: namely his fandoms of choice. Remember that MU is comprised of all fictitious worlds. Hence, in MU, Dragonball Z and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann are not works of fiction: they are real worlds housing real individuals somewhere in the vast sea of the Multiverse.
Also, 'professor' is a title only bestowed upon masters in their field who teach at a college/university level. Teachers in high school would not be professors, hence why both Dullahan and Winters, who are professors in their normal canon, are demoted from 'Dr.' to 'Mr.' for this distortion thread.

Although I think most (if not all) of you came to this conclusion on your own, I added some information relevant to the plot for those who were uncertain:
As with most Distortion plots, this fabricated reality is self-contained, and not linked to the Multiverse. This means that, in this reality, there is only a single world which is inhabited by life (which will just be Earth, for simplicty’s sake), and all characters therein shall hence be from the same world. He can be somewhat lacking in social skills, but he is very caring and fiercely loyal once he manages to make friends with someone. He dresses in an almost business-casual type manner and can be a bit obsessive over tidiness and organization. He's a member of the Science Club, and with some arm-twisting from Richard, he volunteered for the Big Brothers program. His Little Brother is an 8-year-old named Cody with some interesting secrets of his own.

Everyone, look closely at the student bios in the second post. I'll give you a few moments to figure out where I'm going with this.

Alright, time's up!
As of now, we're up to 14 students (not counting Faculty or Other). While this joys my heart, it also poses a problem. If they were to all be involved, simultaneously, in a single thread then it would become exasperatingly convoluted. You thought Farm Boy Goes Shopping was a royale clusterfuck? Imagine that, multiplied by 3. Hence, we need to buckle down and plan this out so that the plot doesn't become unwieldy.
As of now, all of us have at least two characters involved. For the sake of flow, I must enforce that we try and limit ourselves to having only 1-2, or, at times, even none of our character accounts present at any single time. If too many characters start to appear, or if you want someone else to appear, then have one of your characters leave for an in-character reason. "Oh, crap! My next class starts in two minutes! Catch you guys later!" That sort of thing. This way we don't wind up with 14+ students, as well as faculty members, all posting at the same time. That would not only make the thread immensely confusing, especially since (assuming we're posting in turn order) it could be as few as 15 posts before your character next reacts, but it would also make the thread drag on forever. It would never conclude at a pace like that, waiting for each individual member to make all of those posts.
Alright. So, I trust you all see why measures are necessary to prevent the plot from getting out-of-hand. Now, don't get me wrong: all of the characters are welcome, and I'd even like to see more join. The simple fact is that they just can't all feasibly be in the same thread, at the same time.
Depending on how well this goes, I'm considering making this an ongoing, episodic-style series, with varying overarching plots (I'm still waiting on potential plot suggestions, guys). It can hence be split into multiple threads - and even multiple threads running simultaneously. For example, two school events can be occurring simultaneously, with different characters, in two different threads. Splitting it up thusly will alleviate a lot of the problem, and give the various characters an opportunity to shine. I will create a summary, info, and index thread for it (like similar ones) for this reason, to keep things neat and organized.
Anyone with any input, comments, or suggestions on this, speak up! I'd love to hear it.

“And it was a lot like touching the sides in that board game, Operation. And it was equally as terrifying.”
Sorry to flip flop, but I'm going to bow out as Alice. I agree that the large number of students can make things muddy if not planned, but it's not just that; I think I'd make Aurora better if I focused on just her. Unless that's unacceptable, of course!

Don't get me wrong: I don't want anyone to drop-out or reduce characters. As mentioned above, all of these characters can't be active at a single time in the same thread. Rotation and split threads should ensure every student gets some spotlight time.

Alright! Well, I suppose we'll move ahead. Sign-ups will remain open indefinitely, so to anyone who has yet to enroll, or who wishes to include more characters, fear not. Be certain to keep an eye on this discussion for developments and updates.
While I do wish to have overarching plots for this, for starters let's just focus on introducing the characters and getting acquainted with the setting. Also keep in mind that split-threads are always going to be an open opportunity, so focus can be on multiple groups at once without it all being clogged into one thread.
The first class to be focused on in the introductory thread will be history, with Mr. Winters.
“And it was a lot like touching the sides in that board game, Operation. And it was equally as terrifying.”
Last call for anyone who intends to have students appear during this class session, as history class will be concluded after the next round of posts.
Also, does anyone have any input on which class should be next? Or should the scene after Winters' class shift to lunch time? A novel idea, but... what say you all that we use the thread for discussion of this plot to actually discuss the plot?
For my money, I'd suggest a very brief (as in, only a few posts) break between classes, just for some interaction. Afterward, I'd be willing to start Mr. Layton's class. Maybe lunch could be after Layton's class. How does that sound?
“Thanks! I got him at the circus; there's hundreds of 'em there.”
